Comment

Apollo 15 was the ninth crewed mission in the United States' Apollo program, the eighth to be successful, and the fourth to land on the Moon. It was the first J mission, with a longer stay on the Moon and a greater focus on science than earlier landings. Apollo 15 saw the first use of the Lunar Roving Vehicle.

Interesting fact

The 4500 Guaraníes (Apollo 15 Mission) coin from Paraguay is unique because it was minted to commemorate the Apollo 15 mission, which was the first manned mission to use the Lunar Roving Vehicle. The coin's design features an image of the lunar module, as well as the Paraguayan coat of arms. It's interesting to note that the coin was minted in 1975, four years after the Apollo 15 mission took place in 1971.
