The 4 stuiver coin was struck across many parts of the Spanish Netherlands, and can be differentiated by the mintmark over the crown reverse (see links).

From 1545 the obverse legend changes to: CAROLVS D G ROM IMP HIS REX D BVRG followed by a two digit date (GH 189-6b).
