The 2 sterling and 4 sterling denominations were issued briefly in 1366 when the large 2 groot met de leeuw (plak) coin with the same design began its issue.
The precise numbers of each that were struck is unknown. Mint records state that 963 marks of silver (about 235 kg) were used for both types, so the numbers for each were likely in the high tens of thousands.
