Interesting fact
The coin features an image of Queen Kristina I on the obverse (front) side, who was the reigning monarch of Sweden at the time the coin was minted. She was known for her strong personality and her efforts to modernize Sweden's government, military, and economy. She was also a patron of the arts and sciences, and her court was a center of culture and learning. Despite her many achievements, she abdicated the throne in 1654 and converted to Catholicism, causing a scandal in Protestant Sweden.
