Comment

The 4 heller coins of 1751 is easy to discern by the style of the crown. During Friedrich I the crown used was the Swedish king's crown with 5 spokes while Wilhelm II used a crown with 3 spokes for a landgrave.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 4 Heller coin from the Landgraviate of Hesse-Cassel is that it was made of Billon, which is an alloy of copper and silver. This was a common practice in the 18th century, as it allowed for the production of coins that were more durable and resistant to wear and tear than coins made of pure copper. The use of Billon in coinage also made it possible to produce coins with a lower silver content, which helped to reduce the cost of production. Despite being made of an alloy, the 4 Heller coin from Hesse-Cassel was still considered a valuable and reliable form of currency during its time.
