Interesting fact
The 30 Kreuzers coin from the Electorate of Bavaria, minted during the reign of Maximilian III Joseph (1754-1756), was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to use a new type of silver alloy that was introduced during that time, known as "Bavarian silver." This alloy was composed of 50% silver and 50% copper, which made the coin more durable and resistant to wear and tear compared to pure silver coins. This innovation in coinage helped to set a new standard for the production of coins in Europe and paved the way for the widespread use of silver alloys in coinage.
