Interesting fact
The 3½ Talar koronny coin from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, minted in 1621 during the reign of Sigismund III Vasa, was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to feature a unique design element - a hole in the center. This hole was known as the "Bydgoszcz hole" and was added to the coin to make it easier to stack and store. This design feature was later adopted by other mints and became a common feature in coins from the region.
