Date of issue: 10 JUL 1996The white-stone Tobolsk Kremlin, built in the 17th-18th centuries, is a symbol of the old capital of Siberia, Tobolsk. Founded in 1584, for many years Tobolsk represented Russian culture and might beyond the Urals.
