Date of issue: 01 NOV 2010The ensemble of the Round Square (today Lenin Square) is the memorial of the stone architecture of Petrozavodsk of the XVIII century. The monument to Peter the Great (sculptor I. N. Schreder, architect I. А. Monigetti), was built in 1873 on the Round Square, in 1978 it was removed to the Onega Quay, near the River Station.
