The reverse of the coin features relief images of railway stations in the town of Tynda (left) and the settlement of Ulkan (right), an electric locomotive, a spruce on a rock and a house from one of the series designed for the BAM settlements, as well as stylised images of a waving curtain and freight wagons, mountains and forests laser-treated for matte finishing; there are relief inscriptions: ‘Baikal-Amur Mainline’ around the lower circumference and ‘50 YEARS’ at the top right in a frame in two lines.
