Comment
Brass pattern for circulation issue of the same year minted three years after UDI, likely in Pretoria. This coin is unlisted in major references, and the dimensions are approximated based on the circulation issue. The Rhodesian Tickey (nickname for the three pence piece in South Africa and Rhodesia) was the only base metal denomination not dually denominated (which, in decimal for this coin would be two and a half cents). This series released in 1968 was the first circulation series released since Rhodesia and Nyasaland split.
