Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1953-1954 Australian 3 Pence coin is that it was minted with a rare error. Some coins were struck with a misprinted obverse die, resulting in a faint outline of the Queen's crown on the reverse side of the coin. This error has become known as the "Ghost Crown" variety and is highly sought after by collectors.
