Long after the Bohemian revolt of 1618 which ignited the first phase of the 30 Years' War, Swedish and German armies entered Silesia on the Protestant side of the conflict in the 1630s. The Protestant nobility of Silesia revolted against Ferdinand II in 1634, forming the Confederation of Evangelical Estates. Several types (3 kreuzer, thaler and ducat) were issued under their authority in 1634 and 1635.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 3 Kreuzers - Silesian Evangelic Estates (Wroclaw) 1634 coin is that it features an image of the Silesian coat of arms on one side and the Bohemian lion on the other, symbolizing the political alliance between the two regions.
