Interesting fact
The 3 Kreuzers coin from Hungary, minted in 1693 during the reign of Leopold I, was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to use a new technology called "milled" or "reeded" edges. This technology involved grooving the edges of the coin with a special tool to create a textured, ribbed effect. This innovation made it more difficult for counterfeiters to produce fake coins, as it was harder to replicate the milled edges. This feature has since become a standard security measure in coin production and is still used in many coins today.
