Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 3 Kreuzers - Francis II (Siege coinage Týn nad Vltavou) 1799 from Kingdom of Bohemia made of Lead weighing 7.2 g is that it was used as a form of emergency currency during the Napoleonic Wars. The coin was minted in 1799, during a time when the Kingdom of Bohemia was facing economic difficulties due to the ongoing war. To address this issue, the government decided to mint coins made of lead, which was a cheaper and more readily available material than traditional metals like silver or gold. This coin, along with other siege coins minted during this period, played an important role in facilitating trade and commerce during a time of economic hardship.
