Interesting fact
The 3 Kreuzers coin from Hungary, minted during the reign of Charles III (1716-1721), was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to use a unique design element - a hole in the center. This hole was known as a "Kreuzermark" and was used to indicate the coin's authenticity. The Kreuzermark was a small cross-shaped cutout in the center of the coin, which was added to prevent counterfeiting. This feature made the 3 Kreuzers coin stand out from other coins of its time and demonstrated the innovative approach of the Hungarian mint.
