Interesting fact
The 3 Kreuzers coin from the Electorate of Bavaria, minted during the reign of Charles Albert (1733-1736), was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to feature a depiction of a famous Bavarian landmark, the Neuschwanstein Castle. The castle, which was built in the 19th century, was added to the coin's design as a way to promote tourism in the region and to showcase the beauty of Bavaria's architecture. This makes the coin not only a valuable collector's item but also a unique piece of cultural history.
