Comment
This coin is missing in Krause German Coins. It is similar to the other III heller minted in 1733 and 1735 but the bust is a whole new design and larger. The old design has a ruff around the neck while the new one has a bared throat.
Interesting fact
The 3 Heller coin from Hesse-Cassel was minted during the reign of Frederick I, who was a prominent figure in German history. He was known for his military campaigns and his efforts to modernize the state of Hesse-Cassel. The coin itself is made of copper and features an image of Frederick I on one side, while the other side bears the coat of arms of Hesse-Cassel. This coin is a rare and valuable collector's item, with only a limited number of coins minted during Frederick's reign.
