Denomination not listed.Leonhard von Keutschach was the first Archbishop of Salzburg to mint coins with his portrait. He employed one of the great Renaissance engravers, Ulrich Ursentaler the Elder (1482-1562), who was then at the start of his career. Square gold coins like these (klippe) were produced for use as gifts or rewards and were always struck in the correct weight for their denomination.
