Interesting fact
The coin features an image of King Carol II on the obverse side, while the reverse side features the Romanian coat of arms. The coat of arms includes a shield with the symbols of the three provinces of Romania: Wallachia, Moldavia, and Transylvania. The shield is surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves and topped with the royal crown. This design was used on many Romanian coins during the reign of King Carol II, who ruled from 1930 to 1940.
