Old dies (same as km271) were used to strike between 2004 and 2006.Since 2007, new dies were used and the text appeared larger and less spacing.
However, varieties exist on coins from 2007 since part of the coins still using an old die to struck on the reverse side of the coin.
Interesting fact
The 25 Sentimo coin was designed by sculptor and engraver, Daniel M. Doña, and features the iconic Jeepneys, which are colorful and ornately decorated buses that are a popular mode of public transportation in the Philippines. The coin's design also includes the coin's denomination, "25 Sentimo," and the year of minting.
