Date of issue: 31 MAR 20212021 is the 60th anniversary year of the first human space flight. On 12 April 1961, the Vostok-1 space vehicle was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. For the first time in human history, a manned spacecraft entered the aerospace and orbited the Earth. The flight lasted one hour and 48 minutes. This day will always be remembered in history as the day when the first human conquered the space.
Interesting fact
The coin commemorates the 60th anniversary of the first human space flight, which was accomplished by Yuri Gagarin in 1961. The colored design on the coin depicts Gagarin's spacecraft, Vostok 1, in orbit around the Earth. The coin's design also includes the inscription "First Human Space Flight" in Russian, as well as the dates "1961-2021" to mark the 60th anniversary of the historic event.
