Two British mints produced this coin:
1. Imperial Chemical Industries marked its production with a Mintsmall dot, nicknamed 'pearl'. It is under the horizontal connection between two olive branches at the bottom. In the mintage section these coins are in the line 5709 (1949) •
2. Heaton mint in Birmingham did not mark its coins.
