One of the first coins to be issued under the reign of King Charles III, released on Monday October 3rd 2022 at 9am to commemorate the life and legacy of Queen Elizabeth II.The coin was issued individually (2,912 sales) as well as in tubes (499 sales) it had an unlimited mintage until 31st December 2022 and was struck in a variety of metals and denominations.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the coin is that it features a unique double effigy design, with both a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and a cameo of Prince Charles on the same coin.
