Issued individually, however later 5,000 were issued as part of 4 Crown Silver Proof Collection which also included a 1972 Silver Wedding Crown, a 1980 Queen Mother's 80th Birthday Crown and a 1981 Royal Wedding Crown with coins sourced from the secondary market.2,002 Coins issued as part of a 2-coin set which also included a 2002 Golden Jubilee silver proof; the 1977 crown was taken from the secondary market.
The coin was also struck in copper-nickel.
