Interesting fact
The 25 Fils coin from Bahrain, which features the portrait of King Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa on one side and the national emblem of Bahrain on the other, was the first coin in the country's history to bear the name of a reigning monarch. This was a departure from previous coins that had only featured the name of the country or the ruling family. This change was made to commemorate the accession of King Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa to the throne in 1992 and to reflect his role as the head of state.
