Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1924 25 Céntimos coin is that it was minted during a time of economic turmoil in Brazil, known as the "Old Republic" period. The coin's silver content was reduced to 65% in 1924, and the remaining 35% was made up of copper, in an effort to reduce the cost of production and maintain the coin's value. Despite these efforts, the coin still experienced significant inflation during this time, and its value decreased significantly compared to earlier years.
