Interesting fact

The 25 Céntimos coin from Costa Rica, minted between 1937 and 1948, has an interesting feature. It was designed by Costa Rican artist, Tomás Povedano, who was known for his sculptures and medals. Povedano's design for the coin features a portrait of a woman representing the republic, surrounded by the words "República de Costa Rica" and the coin's denomination. This design was unique to Costa Rican coins at the time and added a touch of artistry to the currency.
