Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1968 Canadian 25-cent coin with the second portrait of Elizabeth II is that it was the first coin to feature the new portrait of the Queen, which was designed by Arnold Machin. This portrait was used on all Canadian coins featuring Elizabeth II from 1968 until 1989.
