Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted in 1920 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Syndicat du Commerce et de l'Industrie (Union of Commerce and Industry) in Saint-Gaudens, a commune in the Haute-Garonne department of France. The coin features a portrait of the French sculptor and artist Paul Dubois-Jean, who was born in Saint-Gaudens and was known for his work in the Art Nouveau style. The coin's design was created by the artist and engraver, Charles-Albert Walhain.
