Piece carved by Nina-Victorine Lefèvre (née Kestler), of Uzbek origin, and by her husband Julien Lefèvre, struck at the Brussels Mint. These coins were intended to replace the . The alloy contains 97% aluminum and 3% magnesium, with a tolerance both outside and within 15 thousandths for aluminum and 10 thousandths for magnesium. The tolerance of the weight being 50 thousandths.For the year 1963, Probst mentions three known examples in cupronickel (reference L#300-7). Weiller and no other catalog mention this variant. The reference L#306-8 corresponds to the , polished flan, minted in 1980.
