Piece struck at the Brussels mint, made of an alloy of 95% copper, 4% tin and 1% zinc.
The Grand-Ducal Decree of July 18, 1930, ordered the issue of new coins, among others this 25 centimes in "monetary copper". Coins demonetized by the decree of February 14, 1939 and replaced by the new coins in .

Interesting fact

The 25 Centimes - Charlotte (Bronze) 1930 coin was designed by French sculptor and engraver, Charles-Auguste Fraikin. Fraikin was a well-known artist who also designed coins for other countries, including Belgium and France. The coin's design features a portrait of Charlotte, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, on the obverse, and the Luxembourg coat of arms on the reverse. The coin was minted in bronze and weighs 5.5 grams. It was circulated in 1930 and is now considered a rare and valuable collector's item.
