Interesting fact

The Pattern 25 Banica coin was designed by the Croatian artist, Ivan Meštrović, who was also a sculptor and architect. He was known for his work in the early 20th century and was commissioned to design the coin by the Ustaše regime, which was in power in the Independent State of Croatia during World War II. The coin features a stylized image of a woman on the obverse side, representing the Croatian people, and a pattern of leaves and flowers on the reverse side. The coin was never put into circulation, but it is still considered a valuable collector's item among numismatists today.
