Interesting fact

The Pattern 25 Banica coin from the Independent State of Croatia (Yugoslavia) is interesting because it was designed to be used as a substitute for the Yugoslav dinar during World War II. Due to a shortage of dinars, the Croatian government decided to mint their own coins, including the Pattern 25 Banica, which was made of nickel and had a value of 25 banica. Despite being minted in 1941, the coin was never officially released into circulation and is now considered a rare collector's item.
