Interesting fact

The obverse (front) side of the coin features a portrait of King Attalus II of Pergamon, who ruled from 159 BC to 138 BC. Attalus II was known for his military campaigns against the Galatians and his efforts to promote Greek culture and language throughout his kingdom. He also founded the famous library of Pergamon, which became one of the largest and most important libraries of the ancient world.
