It has been located, since its inauguration on May 15, 1955, in the Plaza de Ramón y Cajal, on the Moncloa campus of the Complutense University of Madrid "La Docta". The author and her husband Archer Milton Huntington, founder of the Hispanic Society of America, attended the inauguration.
