It portrays a female figure seated at a loom in the act of launching and relaunching the shuttle with a watchful eye and industrious hands. The coin is dedicated to women to whom, everywhere in the world, the task of cards is reserved, in which Penelope was the first to distinguish herself, a symbol of industriousness and fidelity.
