Below the coat of arms, is the letter E (for Eskilstuna) showing where the coin was struck and to the left is the first letter in the surname of the Governor of the Riksbank, B (for Bäckström). Below the value and dates of the wedding anniversary. This is all contained within an outer ring comprised of small squares.

The artist is Philip Nathan, leading engraver of coins and medals from Surrey, England. This was the first time since the 1740s that a foreign artist had been responsible for designing a Swedish coin. the coin was minted at AB Tumba Bruk Myntverket, Eskilstuna.
