Interesting fact

The Battle of Hradec Králové, which is depicted on the coin, was a significant military conflict that took place in 1424 during the Hussite Wars. The battle was fought between the Hussite forces, led by Jan Žižka, and the Catholic forces of the Holy Roman Empire. Despite being outnumbered, the Hussites were able to secure a decisive victory, which helped to strengthen their position in the region. The coin's design, which features a depiction of Jan Žižka on horseback, serves as a reminder of the important role that he played in Czech history.
