The obverse of the coin features an image of the Royal Palace in Łazienki Park, which is a notable example of Polish Baroque architecture. The palace was originally built in the 17th century as a bathhouse for the Polish king, John III Sobieski, and later served as a royal residence. Today, it houses the Museum of the Polish Army.
