Interesting fact

The Pattern 20 Sen - Taishō 10 (1921) coin was designed by a Japanese artist named Taro Okamoto, who was known for his sculptures and coin designs. The coin features a unique blend of traditional Japanese design elements, such as the chrysanthemum crest of the Japanese emperor, and modernist influences, such as the clean lines and minimalist style. This combination of traditional and modern elements made the coin stand out and reflect the cultural shift that Japan was undergoing during the Taishō period (1912-1926).
