Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 70th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. It features an image of the couple on their wedding day in 1947, along with the inscription "PLATINUM WEDDING 1947-2017" and the royal cypher. The coin's design is particularly notable because it was created by the Royal Mint's chief engraver, Jody Clark, who is also responsible for the current effigy of Queen Elizabeth II that appears on British coins.
