Comment

Octavio Paz was a poet, essayist and diplomat (March 31, 1914 – April 19, 1998). He was named Mexico's ambassador to India in 1962, he won the 1990 Nobel price in literature.
The inscription “Todo es presencia, todos los siglos son este presente” (Everything is presence, all centuries are the present one) is taken from the author’s poem “Fuente” (Source) about the change of the millennium.
