Comment

Vladimir Illich Ulianov (aka Lenin - 1870-1924) was the main leader of the Soviet Revolution on October 1917, and a great contributor to communist theory; his contributions are known as "Leninism".
After the Revolution, he was named Chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the Soviet Union, till his death.

The templates used for the dies were produced at Spain.

Interesting fact

The 1977 Cuban 20 Pesos coin featuring Lenin is interesting because it was minted during a time when Cuba was heavily influenced by Soviet ideology, and the coin's design reflects this connection. The coin's obverse features a portrait of Lenin, while the reverse bears an image of the Cuban coat of arms, which includes a depiction of a sugarcane, a symbol of the island's rich agricultural history. The coin's silver content and relatively low mintage also make it a sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
