One of the extremely few coins without value in numerals; just as a written quantity. This is a very rare exception as Banco de México guidelines are very clear that the face value in numbers MUST ALWAYS be present so not to discriminate people who can't read written quantities than just numerals that are easier to learn.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of José María Morelos, a prominent leader in Mexico's struggle for independence from Spain, on one side, and the Angel of Independence, a symbol of Mexican independence, on the other.
