Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 20 Pence - Elizabeth II (2nd portrait) 1982-1984 coin from the United Kingdom is that it was the first coin to feature a new portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed by sculptor Raphael Maklouf. The new portrait was introduced in 1982 and was used on all British coins until 1997, when it was replaced by a new portrait designed by Ian Rank-Broadley.
