The Pattern 20 Lire coin was designed by Italian sculptor and engraver, Giuseppe Romagnoli, and it features a unique design that showcases the country's rich history and culture. The obverse side of the coin depicts the profile of a young woman, representing Italy, surrounded by olive branches and the inscription "LIBERTAS" which means freedom in Latin.
