Comment
Two hands in action to indicate the work, the industriousness of the San Marino people. The brick wall, a pillar, becomes synonymous with erecting, pulling up. Worker's hand, light hand of the musician: the hands become characters and the sense of the pattern is devised so as not to see them cropped against the specular background and to highlight their plastic value. The geometric base dear to the Molteni sculptor serves to make him stand the symbolic pillar, material and intellectual at the same time.San Marino's 1976 Mint Set
