This is the coin comemorating the abdication of Queen Margrethe II and accenssion of King Frederik X. The first coin issued under the rule of Frederik X. But not the first with his portrait, since he featured on a 10 Kroner coin for his 18th birthday, back in 1986.
Released into circulation from the 1st of November 2024, it is only made for circulation and not in a proof version, but can be purchased thruge a dealer in uncirculated condition.

The 20 Kroner - Frederik X (Throne accession) 2024 coin from Denmark features a unique design that incorporates a portrait of King Frederik X on the obverse (front side), while the reverse (back side) features a stylized image of the Danish royal crown, surrounded by the inscription "KONGELIG OG KRONET" (Royal and Crowned). This design was created by the Danish designer, Lisel Ashlock, and it's the first time that a Danish coin has featured a portrait of a reigning monarch.
