There are depicted soldiers returning from the battle-front in that part of the segment which is marked by three searchlight beams. On the left there is the inscription: 60/ РОКІВ/ ПЕРЕМОГИ/ У ВЕЛИКІЙ/ ВІТЧИЗНЯНІЙ/ ВІЙНІ/ 1941 - 1945 (60 Years of the Victory in the Second World War in 1941 - 1945). Below the inscription there is a holographic depiction of the Order of the Great Patriotic War.

Interesting fact
The 20 Hryven (VE-Day) 2005 coin from Ukraine features an image of the Motherland Monument, a famous statue in Kiev that symbolizes the country's resistance and resilience during World War II.
